“I went back to school at 46 to become a psychotherapist”

—Karen Whitehead, 52, Alpharetta, GA

“I was part of the sandwich generation with one child in college, one graduating from high school and one in middle school, all while taking care of my aging mom who was having major health issues at the time. I was working as a third-grade teacher after taking a break to stay home with my kids. After a few years, I realized I was miserable. I started having physical health problems and my stress level was through the roof. This wasn’t what I wanted to be doing anymore, but I had no clue what I did want. So with the support and encouragement of my husband and family, I took a job in an independent school working in fundraising and communications. When my immediate supervisor left to work at an inpatient hospice and asked me to go with her, I found myself excited to connect with the families and patients. I started meeting with different professionals to explore career options in medicine or social services and took time to review course catalogs at universities. I decided on an online Masters in Social Work program at Boston University. I quit my job, took a leave of absence midway through to care for my mom who was having health issues and completed the program in three years. I now have a private practice, Karen Whitehead Counselingwhere I help clients with stress, anxiety, cancer and chronic illness enjoy life again.”

“I moved across the world after leaving a dead marriage.”

—Candice Kilpatrick, 40, New York, NY

“I had been living in Asia for nine years working as a teacher and was in a dead marriage. Seven months after I left my husband, I found out he had been cheating on me. I desperately wanted to start over in a new city where I could choose my own identity, and not live in the small expat community where I would be known as an ex-wife of someone. I took a big leap and moved to NYC with two duffel bags and not a single friend or family member in sight. Since moving to the states, I’ve worked in social media for big brands like Yahoo!, Duane Reade and Moët. I’m also newly married to an amazing man! I took a huge leap and it paid off! You are in control of your own fate!” Follow these tips to quit your day job and start your dream Career.

LOCKDOWN - Changed the life !

The corona virus (Covid-19) caused a lockdown. On March 24, 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced in his address to the nation that the entire country would be in a complete lockdown for 21 days to check the spread of coronavirus. He said it was not a curfew, but, given the seriousness of the matter, it should be treated as no less. What exactly happened in the lockdown? The lockdown brought a lot of families together .Everyone had fun in the lockdown. But some families were very sad because they did not have a job and they did not have money . There were many difficulties for them in their life. There were a lot of people like that !! Sonu Sood helped people a lot in lockdown ♥️ !! “Migrant workers have helped build our roads, homes and offices. We cannot stand and watch them be homeless,” says actor Sonu Sood.  Each day since the COVID-19 lockdown in Mumbai, the actor has been organising buses for migrant workers to travel from Mumbai to their respective homet...

My Mom My World ♥️🌎💫

My mother would be with me forever She always supports me My Mumma Say's , I am always with You . I will always be with you.   “God could not be everywhere, and therefore he made mothers”. I truly believe these words of his. We say that God created mankind but our mothers created us. A mother not only gives us life but does our upbringing and also protects us.   My mother is My first and best friend. She understands everything we say and also what we are not able to say. Her shoulder is always there in the times when we feel low. She laughs with us, plays with us, goes out with us and enjoys with us. A mother never judges us, no matter what wrong we do. She shares her life experiences with us which makes us strong. We can talk about everything to her. She always guides us through difficult times. we should always love and respect our mother and her thoughts. It is our duty to take care of our parents . I Love My Mumma More Than Anyone else ♥️🌏✨ My Mumma Is My Motivator♥️...
